Flower Foundation has nine ( 9) villages spread across Johannesburg each with its own unique features and leisure and lifestyle options to choose from. A few of our villages are co-located with specialised care facilities which can provide assistance to residents who may need extra support. Services vary across our villages and ranges from cleaning, gardening, laundry and meals, these are aimed at providing you convenience in your retirement years and provide you with time to enjoy doing what you love.

We offer a variety of accommodation options to suit the lifestyle of our residents and each village has its own pricing structure which our Head Office sales team will be happy to talk you through. Residents at our retirement villages live active and independent lives in cottages, flats or apartments and it’s important when considering the available options that the resident is able to care and cater for themselves.

For those who prefer having meals and laundry catered for, our Residential Living plan at Willowbrook Village in Sandown is the perfect solution for you or if you want to feel like you’re on holiday then take a look at Elm Park in Northcliff, with beautiful Cape Dutch style design complimented by beautiful, colourful garden spaces.

For retirement living that can grow with your needs as you age, look no further than a Flower Foundation home.

We provide life-long solutions to our residents  which support their needs at every stage of life, including those who require long-term care or specialised Dementia Care.

Care Centres are suited to residents who require extra support or 24-hour care as their needs have changed and they are no longer able to live independently. Living in a care home, our residents will have our trusted staff to oversee their daily requirements.

Flower Foundation remains the sole owner of the property; therefore the on-going responsibility of management, maintenance and upkeep of the village and exterior of the units remains the responsibility of Flower Foundation. A monthly levy is applicable to each unit and the levy is based on the services provided at the selected village or Care Centre. The levies are updated annually and any price alternations will be put into effect on the 1st of April of each year. Please review the levy price range listed on the respective village pages.

I have no words to express the gratitude, that my sisters and I have to Willowbrook Retirement Village for giving my mother back her independence, dignity and contentment.

After my fathers passing, my mom was on her own for the first time in her life.  She experienced a couple of years of intense health problems.  She was lonely, moved from Cape Town to Johannesburg, and most of her children live overseas.

From the very first time we walked into Willowbrook, the warmth, kindness and friendship was apparent with the wonderful openness of the Village Manager. After our first meeting with the Matron and Manager, we were convinced that the welfare of my mother was first and foremost in the eyes of Willowbrook Village.

We found the perfect place for my mother.  She started out in the frail care, where the staff could not have done more for her, and the residents went out of their way to make my mom feel part of the community. She then moved to an independent apartment, where she excelled.  She had her independence back, she made friends, had a purpose to wake up for and decided that this was going to be her home. She found her happy place. She enjoys her meals, loves the programs, the resident physio has worked wonders for her, and the carers are fantastic and kind.

The staff are all exceptional people.  They go out of their way to ensure that the safety, and happiness of the residents are of paramount importance.  Everyone always has a smile, and nothing is too much.

I would recommend Willowbrook without a hesitation.

Thank you, Carel, Karin, Lana and all the wonderful people who have made my mom a very happy and content person.
